Overnight Baked French Toast
Who doesn’t love an easy breakfast recipe for either those busy weekday or slow weekend mornings. This one is great, has very little prep and is a huge crowd pleaser. Also it works great as leftovers!! I laugh at these posts because I am clearly not a food photographer! This picture had perfectly poured syrup on it when I took it, it looked and smelled so incredibly good,!!
Recipe
**The measurements are not an exact science in this recipe so play with it a bit to make it best for your family
Bread that you may have that’s on its way out. I use some brioche buns (8 buns- hamburger size) - Chopped up into cubes
4 eggs ( or more depending on how much bread)
Egg Whites
Milk- I used coconut milk because I’m dairy free
Cinnamon
Vanilla
Cinnamon sugar
Grease baking dish. Cut bread into cubes and add to a 9x11 baking dish. Mix all liquid ingredients as well as cinnamon in a bowl. Beat together and pour over bread cubes. give it a bit of a stir so that all of the bread pieces are coated. Sprinkle with Cinnamon sugar. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
In the morning preheat oven to 350, Convection Bake. Bake for 35 minutes. You may have to adjust your baking time depending on your baking dish and how much egg you decided to use. ***Quick note*** I like to give the bread a little stir before I put it in the oven, just to make sure all the bread is moist.
Remove and enjoy!!!!
